   "Well Commander, while his ID and credentials are in question there are
not any provisions that prevent us from questioning a suspect until there ID
and Credentials are verified through proper channels.

    Now, I am not saying that we did scan the man.  I am not saying that we
did not scan the man.  However, if we did and it were illegal that
information can not be acted upon by you or anyone else.  So why would I
just give you this information, assuming of course that we did scan the man
as your Lt. has suggested."
