>As people started to enter, Lasiter left his desk and directed them over
to a grouping of two plain, yet very comfortable, sofas on either side >of
a coffee table. At the one end was a single arm chair, which Lasiter took
for himself.

David and Lorin took their respective seats.

 >Once everyone is situated, Lasiter begins...

 >"Good morning everyone. From the looks of things, I would say that there
has been some significant progress. Before we begin, I would like >to
welcome the new face here with us. Commander, I am Samuel
Lasiter. Welcome aboard Spacedock. " he started politely.

Lorin and David both nodded.

 >"Now, let's begin. This is going to be a very busy day for us
all. Admiral Renaud, if you would be so kind as to start us off."

<ooc: umm...thanks for springing that on me chriso! I just became an
officially engaged man...my mind is mush!> :)

Lorin was caught slightly off guard but stood, "First off, as we all know a
security plan was recently implemented to track and protect our Senior
staff, myself included. Again, if you leave Spacedock" he looked at the
Doctor, "for whatever reasons-Admiral Lasiter, Ops or Commander Firehawk
must be notified. If it is a confidentiality issue notify Commander
Firehawk and she will discreetly note your departure. I cannot stress this
fact in light of recent events and if I am correct it was an order issued
with approval by Admiral Lasiter previously. Any questions?"
