"Now before I end this meeting, I would like to remind you that this
material is still classified. We will be meeting again, in two days to go
over more of your concerns, and continue to polish this plan so that it can
be presented to President Montgomery and the Federation Council. I will be
meeting with small groups of you to go over specifics that apply to your
departments and divisions.
And one other thing. In my travels I leanred that many of those in the
fleet feel that we have forgotten them. This changes now. Each of you are
to contact 30 of your field units. Take your top 10, and pick the rest at
random. Find out what they are up to, what their difficulties are, and
start to address them. Follow up with them. You pass along those that you
ahve contacted to me, via e-mail, as I will be following up with them. I
want these lists by our next meeting. You will have 2 weeks to be well on
your way to improving thigns for your people in the field. Use your execs
and third in line as well to make the calls. Ok. dismissed.
