She hated being tested, especially like this.  The breach of trust was a
huge one, especially when she had taken a chance and trusted him when half
the fleet was against him.  She was still angry, but set it aside for the
moment.  In the back of her mind, though, she was wondering if the group
she met with wasn't exactly right.

"Thank you, sirrr," she replied calmly.  "I'm glad you underrrstand how I
feel.  I'm surrre you would agrrree that you would feel the same way if
someone rrreassigned M'rrenn without yourrr perrrmission."

"Forrr what it's worrrth, to my knowledge, the Tellarrrite perrrforrmed
well.  Howeverrr, I am still not surrre she hasn't been telling someone
about my wherrreabouts and actions.  She does seem to have well-placed
connections, though, and is good at getting inforrrmation, I just don't
know if she's prrroviding illicit inforrrmation to those connections."
