>"On another topic, Uglara came in this morning. She has news for you.
Seems
>as if a the Security Chief at the Embassy was all bent out of shape over
>something. She was ferrying him in from some Alpha Centauri trading
station.
> He had a call with the Ambassador and he was all up in arms about the hand
>incident as well as how reckelss operations have been around here. Looks
>like they are taking some chances with what ever they are planning. The
>security chief even complained about our friend Admiral Garibaldi..."
>
>K'Tael's eyebrow raised. "Do you have any specifics about the complaints?"
"Well, apparently he is in their little group, and is not trusted. Mostly
talk and little return on their turst/investment, if you know what I mean."
K'Tael was not at all surprised by Garibaldi's involvement. It had been something
that had been brought forward before. He was surprised about the possibility that the
Bajorans weren't getting what they wanted out of his involvement. "Could you
elaborate?"
Tom gave him an exasperated kind of look, like 'What I gotta tell you everything
here....' But gave up the goods.
"From what Uglara was telling me, Garibaldi was brought into the group amid some
doubt that he could be trusted. The Good Admiral Garibaldi infered that he could, and
that he offered something well worth the risk.... An easy and unlimited access to
Admiral Lasiter. Being that Garibaldi is a long time friend and trusted subordinate
to the CinC, the notion holds water. It would seem as if Garibaldi promised access to
some highly sensative information and has not, at least at this point, delivered on
his promises. The Chief of Security at the Embassy has always been leary of him, and
is demanding results. The Ambassador (Bajoran Ambassador) supports Garibaldi, as he
was the one who brought him into the fray, but is starting to hunger for more results.
Uglara will be by to deliver the recordings when she can. She has an appointment or
two, then should drop them by."
