As the bartender passed, t'Llhweiir rolled, catching him on the back of

She drew the knife as she followed through her roll to come up on her
knees and readied herself to spring forward to land upon the bartender.

The dog barked once and growled menacingly at the thugs to her left.
Suddenly the big dog looked like it could kill them all with little
effort.

On one, reality shifted again, and suddenly a Nausican (sp?) loomed over
them, a wicked blade in his huge hands. With a contempuous gesture, he
invited them to attack.
