She nodded. "Fine. Looks like you're busy; I'll have one of these good men
show me where they are." She looked around. "Don't worry; before I leave
here, you'll have the best medical facilities in Starfleet."
"That is good to hear. If you need anything while you are here, just give
me a call. Good Day Doctor D'amondra." Mr. Carroll replied.
She looked at one of the nearby workers. "Can you take me to the nearest med
station?"
The new guy volunteered. He took her to the first of the three aide
stations on the ship. This one was on the saucer section just forward and
down from the bridge.
The room was small for a sickbay, but for it's intended purpose it would
be just fine. It held a small pharmacy for storing a small supply of those
medicines and supplies that could not be replicated, plus four (4) bio-beds,
and a small office for the med. on duty. The office could also double as a
make shift lab if need be. While the place was designed for treatment of less
serious cases, or as an extended triage center it could handle overflow of off
but the most serious cases as well.
