"You have it. I thank you for bringing us in on this."

Michael extended his hand. "Thank you for your cooperation, sir. We're
going to surveil for another half hour or so - as long as the suspect doesn't try
and make a move - and then we'll move in. Our plan is to clear the corridor of any
other personnel to help reduce the chance of collaterol casualties. If you would
have your assistant contact me as soon as she's back on-station, I can bring her
up to speed."

"Will do. Anything else, I can do for you?"

The man had been much more helpful than Michael had expected. Other government
agencies usually weren't *nearly* this helpful. "We're good to go otherwise, sir,"
Matt told him. "Thank you."

He headed back out and downstairs, back into the sled. "How'd it go?" Maggie asked
him.

"Easy enough to make me want to work with Starfleet more often."

"Bull."

"True. Where are we?" He cast a glance around the myriad of monitors above
Hacker's head.

"I'm into their net," he said. We've managed to clear the other rooms in the
corridor without tipping Montoya off. So, we're ready to go when you are."

"The warrant?"

"STill waiting."

"Damn." Michael tended to default to a one work vocabulary when things weren't
going well. "I'm going to head up there. Move the rest of the team in to the
initial locations." He'd planned out the arrest en route and everyone knew their
role. "The sec-chief asked that his assistant be in on this, so we'll give her
until the warrant is renewed. If she hasn't shown by then, we go. Questions?"

"No, sir," everyone in the shuttle said, nearly in unison.

"Then let's go." Michael checked his Sig-Sauers, the one in the cock-forward
holster on his right hip and the other one in the shoulder holster under his left
arm. Both were full-charge and ready to go. He left the heavier artillery to the
younger folks.

They again stepped into the turbolift and directed it toward the service
passageways into the hotel area. A moment later, he was in the forward command
post, an emptied room nearest the exit on that level.

(ass't sec chief? Come soon, or miss the party)
