The receptionist got the on call JAG Officer.

  "Commander Firwhawk, Good morning, I am Commander Daniel Moore.  What can I
do for you today?"

"I was wondering if you might have time to discuss and investigation that I have been working on.  It concerns a point of procedure that I would like guidance on from your office."

"That is what we are here for, Commander. Shoot."

In response, Audra covered the basics of the case, making sure to include what she had learned abouf Edwards, Charles, and Pony.  She also discussed the Brotherhood and its possible connections with numorous crimes on the station from the bombing of the shuttle to the murder of former-XO Commander Romari.

"My real question is whether you think we should settle for bringing down Pony or work with him to bring in his superiors?" Audra asked at the conclusion of the summary.

He thought about it for a good bit before responding. "Well, Commander, I see it like this. No matter what we do we will never get the entire organization. It is just not possible. So we should get what we can get. My professional advice is that we have to put this guy away for a long time. If we offer lesser charges, say one level down, and he serves the max time, we will have a good deal. Provided, of course, we get a few others in return. If you have to, as a last resort cut down 20% of the time to be served, but nothing less than that. You seem to know this situation well enough. See what you can get, and let us know. But if you can't get him and a few others, just take him. One in the hand is worth 10 in the bush..."

Audra was glad that she had come.  Commander Moore had definitely helped her sort through the situation.  "Thank you, Commander.  I definitely want this bird in the bush," she replied.  "How should I go about talking with Pony about this?  I know that I have to have an agreement approved by your office."
