"That is his choice," said Audra simply. She glanced toward the
guards to have them come in and take Pony away. She had nothing more to
say.
As Audra and the JAG lawyer left another conversation began. "Well, Commander
Firehawk, this looks like it will be an interesting case. I will probably get
the case once it is officially turned over to JAG for trial. It was good to
work with you. Perhaps we will have the oppertunity again."
"I would like that. Thank you for accepting the challenge of working with
me," she said. She wanted to smile, but she just didn't feel like it right
now. "I just wished that things had turned out better."
"What are you talking about? Things turned out fine. You nabbed a bad guy,
and a rather big one at that. I am assuming that you got to him by way of
other members of his organization. That means not only did you take out a key
figure, but his part of the organization as well. So what, you did not take
out the entire organization. Not a big deal. Elliot Ness did not get all of
Capone's gang, but he did get Capone and a few of his nasties on the way. You
did a great job here with this thug. You should be proud of yourself. It may
even help you make Captain sooner than you think." he countered with a
smile.
