David returned to the CO's quarters with his security detail, confident in
the information he had gained. He waited for a time to see Stark.

Once they were behind closed doors, he took out his trusty PADD, "Before we go over
the other material you have for me, I need to ask about the bar fight that Private
Johnson was injured in. I need to get your side of this story please."

"Sure. There was a bar fight. I got wind of it, and followed standard procedure. I
made a formal request to have the men turned over for administrative punishment. My
request was refused by a Col. Justinian. He gave me a song and dance that my people
started it, and were making asses of themselves. Harassing the locals in the pub,
being rowdy, getting drunk... the usual run around. So, I paid the Col. a personal
visit, and was refused rather forcefully. I repaid the gesture with one of my own-
namely a company of heavily armed troops. When I got back to the our base,
administrative punishment was the last thing on my mind. The condition of my men was
first and foremost.

For my concern for my men, I recieved an administrative reprimand. Admiral Van Der
Loo took exception to my choice of actions. I did disobey orders by pursuing the
matter with Col. Justinian, so I got what I deserved. However, my men got what no one
deserves." David could tell that the Col. was a bit angry about the situation.
Afterall, his men were still in the base's sickbay.
