She nodded.  "I think so.  All we need tonight is something implied, that will make 
him delay his actions for a few more days at least.  I think we can make him unsure 
enough about his position that he'll want to hold off, to check his support and 
investigate things a little more."  She couldn't believe she was talking about someone 
in her own fleet, a man who should be
her ally, but instead was now the enemy.

"I know how to get him second guessing.  Put up a good show tonight, and I will make 
sure that he gets a message that he will not soon forget.  I will send him a 
message....  His XO will deliver it for me."  Lasiter said refering to his younger 
brother.  "Perhaps a hint that I think you are after the CinC job.  A little come to 
rattle of the cage will be good too, perhaps a note letting him know that his absence 
from his command has been noticed.  Just enough to curtail his sneaking around away 
from his command.  Just pay attention to what happens between Kettering and Tyrus.  It 
should be interesting."
