>The ship that Celana D'amondra was reported to be on was a frigate. That meant it
>was fast, maneuverable, and well armed. By the looks of this ship it was fish like,
>or at least in the shape of one. Figures as it was designed by a race that came from
>a water world- aquatic species. Reports also indicated that she was on the move.
>Most likely a security precaution
not to stay in one spot for too long, however she did seem to be keeping within the
confines of a broad general area.
Kit needed a vehicle that wouldn't attract so much attention. She looked on the star
charts in the direction of sector where the frigate was last seen for the local
SpecOps, Intell, or Federation Intelligence Agency outpost where she could leave the
Runabout and appropriate a ship that looked like a decrepit civilian small transport,
but had been outfitted with high-end engines that were scan-masked to appear as junk
engines.
Skunkworks were a marvelous thing. SpecOps had several of these ships, she assumed
the other agencies would too, and she hoped that one of them was somewhere on her way.
There was an Intell base that fit the bill. It was familar to Kit, as it was on the
list of such bases that SpecOps funded, but did not actually run. They also just
happened to have a small freightor that would do nicely.
