Kit hated pulling rank, but in this case, she needed to. She tried the polite version
first, asking if she could drop off the Runabout for the freightor for a mission. She
didn't bother even mentioning what the mission was, who had ordered it, or where she
wouldbe taking it; in her business, you didn't offer information and you didn't ask
questions. If you were supposed to know, someone would tell you, and no one there was
supposed to know.

"This is highly irregular, Admiral.", was the initial reply. The officer obviously a
bit out of his element. He knew that Intell and SpecOps were to be cooperating more,
that much had come through channels weeks ago. However, to have the commanding
admiral of SpecOps practically on his door step asking to use a covert craft.... It
was just too unusual to be covered in the manual...

"I guess there wouldn't be too much trouble with using it, sir. It is not scheduled
for a mission for at least a week or so. However, I will have to tell my superiors
something..."

  {OOC: how's that, a mix of nice and nasty.  ;)   CS }
