As the President was about to start his speech, Commander M'Rrenn and a security
detail went to the Venasian Embassy on Spacedock. While the detail remained around
the corner, and thus out of sight M'Rrenn approached the embassy.
"Gentle Tides. I am Commanderrr M'Rrenn, Admirrral Lasiterrr's Chief of Staff. I
wish to speak with the Charrrge d'Affairrr and the Officerrr on Duty. I am herrre to
deliverrr a message frrrom Starrrfleet and the Federrration Council.", he said
politely, yet formally to one of the guards.
From the look of M'Rrenn and by the nature of the his request, it was clear that a
face to face visit was required- diplomatic protocol demanded it.

President's press conference, so the Venasians have no idea what is to be said or what
will be happening with the press conference.}
