Or, perhaps, he wanted to see and hear exactly what happens to draw his own conclusions. Their reports are going to reflect their own opinions. Maybe he wanted to base his decisions on his own reaction to this meeting."
"Or perhaps he wanted to see our reaction to their bombshell report on the new homeworld. The presence of the Lapizine, was quite unexpected.", Ael commented.
"That would be suspected presence of Lapizine, Ambassador. I think it would be in our best interests to verify the report. Since this is a joint offer, it should be a joint investigation. In fact why not just resurvey the entire planet.", Na'Tral offered.
