"I believe that I could convince my government to supply this mission with a
ship," replied Valtris. "That would be a most agreeable, Ambassador. How soon could the experts meet up at the planet with the survey ship?", Na'Tral said to the assembled group. "We have the the Hovtej in orbit here. If I get approval, I am sure we could launch her whenver we want to," repliead the Klingon representative. "Do any of you think that your governments would care to send a scientist to take part in the analysis?", Na'Tral asked. "The Cardassian Union would be most willing to do so," replied Ambassador Damesh "I will contact my government about sending a specialist. I am sure that they will make one available. They will need a guarantee of safe passage across the neutral zone, and into Federation territory.", Ael answered, putting the Romulans into the mix.
Na'Tral was quick to answer, "Assuming my superiors agree to the new survey, that will be arranged. An approperiate escort will escort them to the planet."
Ael bowed her head slightly in acknowledgement.
"Then it would appear that we have agreement upon the issue. I know that my government would be willing to send a representative to serve on the scientific team as well," said the chairwoman with a smile. "The Hov'tej can launch as soon as those representatives arrive. If there is nothing else, I believe we can adjourn."
Melora leaned forward. "I believe that we might want to consider returning back to Spacedock. It is clear that General A'amon has no intention of returning any time in the near future, and it makes us appear weak to be staying as if we can stop all of our duties until he sees fit to receive and address this body."
