detail.
>"What can I do for you, Lt. Cadry?", he said as warm as he could manage.
"Sir...I had the opportunity to spend time with your son...actually we were
briefly...involved.." she blushed slightly, "I want to tell you that he was
a great man and a better friend. I also served briefly under his command and
was at the service when the attack happened." She was sporting a small
bandage on her forehead and had some bruising around her eyes. "Sir...be
proud of your son. He loved what he did."
That tugged at the old man's heart, and all he wanted to do was to give the woman a
hug. But alas that was not possible... Fighting, once again, to remain in control of
his emotions, he said, "Thank you." he said offering her a seat at a near by table.
"How well did you know my son?"
