Commander Shevab answered {All the failed compnonents
are the same, the problem was or is that do meet
Federation Standards for purchase, but just barely. So
as long as they met specs, Starfleet has no recourse.
We always buy from the lowest bidder and they do fall
within regulations.}

"Commander, I want you to include recommendations on newer specs for the components
you just described in the final report. ", Lasiter said impressed impressed at the
level of detail in the report. There hadn't been a lot of time since the explosion
and this meeting, and this level of analysis was surprising. The bar just got set
higher, not just for Shevab, but for the rest of the meeting.

Lasiter took a look around those present to see if they wanted to interject or add to
this topic.

  {anyone... I'll post on, but we will take care of anything that you good folks want
to add.}

"Now that we know what happened, how do we prevent it from happening again?", Lasiter
said looking straight at Lorin Renaud.

Lorin and company could sense that Lasiter accepted the information that Shevab had
given, and was looking for the same level of thought and analysis. The first bullet
was dodged, now for the second.
