Carrhae smiled in a way that only Matthew could cause. "Until tomorrow," she
replied.
"I'll be right here...", he replied with the same smile.
The next morning, t'Llhweiir rose early, made certain that few personal items
she needed from her suite were packed and arranged for them to be transporter
to her apartment near Star Fleet Command. Then she went to the Infirmary to
see Brennan before he travelled to Ireland.
Once they parted, she transported to Star Fleet Command and, with only a few
minutes before her meeting with Lasiter, walked directly to the dining area.
The maitre d' was stationed at the entrance. "Good morning. Has Admiral
Lasiter arrived yet?" she asked.
"Unfortunately not, Admiral t'Llhweiir. However, Commander Roeder and LCDR Gariabldi
have arrived, and are setting up in the private dinning room. The Admiral's personal
assistant has called to say that he is running just a few moments late, and is on his
way."
