T'Kresh was not completely surprised by what she was reading. She wanted to wish that
she was wrong, but it was definitely a possibility she had considered while the
Council was still on Pacifica. It was one she had not wanted to take seriously since
she considered herself a good friend to Golan. "Delicately, might even be considered
an understatement, Ambassador Watson. I assume you have not had a chance to meet
Ambassador Damesh yet?"

(response)

"I have a feeling that she better represents the views of the current Cardassian
leadership," she answered with a sigh. "Do you have any ideas about how to deal with
this? I am not sure how it would go over if we called it before a Council session."
