Melora was starting to wonder if this was some sort of trap that had been
laid for her.  She had a feeling that it wasn't.  That didn't mean she had
to like what was happening.  "I could talk with Central Command to see if
they could arrange for Golan Dulath to speak with the Council."

"I believe an in-person appearance would suit the Council fine." He looked
at the others for agreement.

"That would seem to resolve the problem at the beginning" replied Rilg.  "We
would have no reason to doubt the worlds of Mr. Dulath himself, particularly
if he were here and able to speak without duress."

T'Kresh too nodded.  "I believe that would be an adequate solution to the
problem"

"I am sure that one of our governments would even be willing to provide the
transportation for the former Ambassador if Central Command did not have a
ship immediately available," continued Valtris.

Valtris had provided Melora with another reason to remember why she despised the Klingon so much.  "If the Council is in agreement, I could contact my government about making such arrangements."  Melora looked over the whole group to see how they took the offer.

(anyone?)
