The diplomatic dinner went well. All parties seemed to have a good time, and that is
a good thing.
The remainder of the journey from Pacifica to Earth was uneventful, and they arrived
without incident.
Docking was smooth, considering the curcumstances, and passing through customs was
irratating, but excessively so. The weapons search/scan was not what diplomats were
accustomed to. Everyone was respectful, but insistant about the need for the
inspections. Once cleared through the mess that is Federation customs, the Ambassador
was met by an aide from the Embassy. They relayed that there was a meeting in
progress of the Diplomatic Council....
