Can you please join Captain Boulay and myself in my office? We are talking about his condition, and your presence you be helpful." "Yes, sir. I will be down planetside in just a few moments." Upon her arrival, she was shown straight in. "Commander, please join us. We were talking about the limits to the Captain's duty. Can you please elaborate on the restrictions and the reasons for them?" Lasiter asked, cutting straight to business. Joanna's first response was to look at David to see how much he wanted her to talk about. While she wasn't going to talk about the details she was going to have to touch on some personal information to explain the reasons for his restrictions. That was something that should be the patient's decision.

"Admiral, Captain Boulay and I had our first session this morning. David had a tough time on his last assignment. He was essentially held as a prisoner of war in what would be considered less than optimal condition that are usually respected under the rules of war. We have definitely begun the process of dealing with the emotions that have resulted from this, there is still a journey to be travelled. I don't think the captain's emotional state will any way affect his station duties, I do have a concern that sending him back into the field and into a situation similar to his recent experiences, particularly with a lack of support would be detrimental to his mental health and his abilities, at this time, to complete such a mission."
