RE: [Spacedock] SPD: K'Tael and the Not-So-Friendly Soliciter

Ione studied K'Tael with her deep blue eyes. She had no doubt that the 
Klingon's intention were honorable.  She was just not sure that the safety 
he was seeming to guarantee was in fact as realistic as he seemed to 
believe.  "I can present the possibility to my client, Commander.  I cannot 
guarantee his response.  I would suggest that you provide me with a plan 
that you would use to protect him if he agrees.  It might be more helpful in 
convincing him.  With that said, I have to let you know that I am not sure 
that I can recommend such a decision to him."

K'Tael nodded understandingly.  "I would suggest he be housed safely either 
on Earth or on one of the planets in the Sol System.  He would be safest on 
one of the worlds where Starfleet has a strong presence, such as Io or Mars. 
I would be open to his selecting the location as long as we get final 
approval."

"When I meet with him, I will pass along your offer.  It will be up to hime 
to make the final decision," replied the public defender as she stood up.  
"If there is nothing else, Commander.  I must get back to my  other clients. 
 I have a meeting with Mr. Jorgenson this afternoon.  I can get back to you 
with his response when I am finished if you like."

K'Tael nodded in response.  "I look forward to hearing from you.  If your 
client would like me to attend your meeting for more information or specify 
any details, just tell his guard.  I will make sure that I am available."
