Ione Moiraine walked down the corridor. She had just gotten out of a conference with Jorgenson and was surprised at the results. It seemed that he did in fact want to talk with Commander K'Tael about possibly providing more information in exchange for protection. It was not the decision that Ione had expected since the man seemed clearly dedicated to his beliefs. She wasn't sure which sickened her more, his racist opinions or the fact that he could so easily toss them.
It did not take her long to arrive in the main area of Security. She approached the main desk and asked to meet with Commander K'Tael. Apparently, K'Tael had left word that he wanted to speak with her as soon as she arrived because she was led right to his office.
