As the doors to his office parted, K'Tael looked up and saw Ms. Moiraine
standing there.  He was not sue that it was a good sign that she had come
without having to talk to him  He had expected that she would ask him to
come down and speak with Jorgenson about things.

He stood up.  "Please come in, Ms. Moiraine.  Take a seat."

"Thank you for meeting with me so quickly, Commander.  I know that you have
a very busy schedule right now."

"It is the least I could do," replied the Security Chief.

"I just came from meeting with Mr. Jorgenson.  He has tentatively agreed to
your proposal, though, he does want to hear the details before he fully
signs on."

K'Tael was surprised, and it was on more than one level.  Ms. Moiraine did
not beat around the bush, which was something he was not used to
experiencing when he was dealing with lawyers.  They tended to try to hide
everything in a fog so they could try and achieve what they wanted.

He was also surprised the Jorgenson was so willing to talk.  He had been
very reticent about sharing information at the interview session.  He had to
wonder what had turned things around.  He was glad that the Brother had done
so, thoguh.  "I believe that I have made some arrangements that might work
as long as he approves.  He must understand that I am going to want all the
information he can provide me with, Ms. Moiraine.  I am not going to do this
and get little in return."

Ione nodded.  "I think that my client understands that, Mr. K'Tael.  The thing to remember is that you won't get anything from him if he is dead."

(K'Tael?)

"Commander, while I don't support my client's viewpoints, I am not sure that he made the best decision.  While he needs to be rehabilitated, he needs to be alive in order to do that.  I am not sure that you can guarantee that."
