(OOC:  Ollie, my apologies for taking so long to post with this.  Chris and I were putting some final touches on things, and we did not want to post until certain things were nailed down.  Thanks for you patience)

Ooc: not a problem, gm dude!

Together, the pair left the house and walked leisurely through the neighborhood.  Occasionally, she waved back to the residents who greeted her, but she didn't stop to speak.

She reached the site where she was to meet her brother, James.

The place could not have been any more ordinary.  It was a simple coffee shop, the type that had been around for centuries.  Customers could get anything from a latte to a ractaccino to a hot chocolate.  The music was jazzy and played just loud enough to muffle the conversations around the room.  The place was not packed, but it was clearly a popular place to visit for all sorts of folks looking for old world charm that combined the modern look with the old ski-lodge fireplace and wooden decor.

James was sitting in a corder with a couple of other guys.  They were busily talking over their various drinks.  It was clear that he did not notice her arrival at first, but when he did, his blue eyes just brightened.  He stood up and waved her over to the group he was sitting with.

Jaime waved back and smiled.  She left Phoebe playing in the dog-rest near the shop entrance and walked the table obstacle course to the place where her brother and his friends sat.

A youngish waiter, who obviously had a thing for Jaime, instantly appeared at her side.  "Your usual?" he asked just a bit too eagerly.

"Sure," she replied.  "Double it, though."

The waiter nodded and hustled off, totally disregarding a couple of gesturing customers on his way.

Jaime laughed and straddled the table's last empty stool.  "Hey," she said.  "You guys are meeting kinda early, aren't you?"

(reply)

Jaime out
