He checked himself out of Ops and walked down to the Promenade where he found an Old Earth-style restaurant and sat down to eat a cheeseburger with the 'works'. (ooc anything else fearless leaders?) A shadow came over him-it was David. "Permission to join my Uncle for lunch?" David said as he carried a tray with similar items. "Granted. Are you back on duty?" "Yes...but limited to Spacedock or Earth duty only while my treatment continues." "Do what the doctor tells you David. You have a lot of healing to do." David nodded, "I know." The two grew silent as they ate...sometimes silence is the best medicine. A few minutes later, a metal tray was dropped nearby them with an extraordinarily loud "CLANG"--David just about jumped out of his skin. He gave up on his meal and said, "I can't do this right now..."
