With the meeting with Commander kirk was over, Lasiter settled in for some paperwork.
However, he did not have the chance to even start it. A call came in from sickbay
that Ambassador Celana D'amondra was coming out of her coma.
"Jane, I will be on Spacedock in sickbay for a bit to visit Garibaldi and company.
While I'm out have LCDR Reid give Rear Admiral Jared Mason Jackson a call. He will
know what it is about.", Lasiter said as he walked out.
Lasiter and security detail in tow proceeded to the transporter room and on to
sickbay. They arrived unmolested by the press, which was a welcome change.
At sickbay, the security detail remained outside while Lasiter entered. He was
escorted to the isolation ward where Salaar, Dr. Serana D'amondra, Doc Hilda, and
company were watching as a pair of nurses took the Venasian out.
"Sorry I'm late. What did I miss?", Lasiter said to those present.
