Lorin smirked...he did not like being hung up on. He returned to the line for the IO Commander, "Commander. Thank you for holding-I apologize for the delay. At this point we need you to put together a Science/Security combination team. Get back to me with any results as soon as possible. Any questions?"
McTiernan's face went blank on the screen. It looked as if someone had told him that his best friend had died. "Sir, I am not sure that you understand the situation her on Station Kerry. We only have 8 people assigned here, and two of those were on the missing Runabout. We are all scientists studying the planetary system of Jupiter. We have no Security personnel since we are based within the Sol System, which has no shortage of Starfleet postings. It was intended that we would receive assistance if anything such as this would have happened. I called in the hopes that you would assign some personnel to assist us in the investigation."
