Well, It was clear that the felinids were able to think
independently. That surprised Daphne.  She would have thought that if the
master race was going to tinkle with their genetics, they would have done
what the Dominion had done with the Jem'Hadar or the Vorta.

"I am surprised at how they seem to concentrate on Traknor rather than
their masters," she said to her partner.

"Trrraknorr isss ssomething they have contrrrol overrr.  And they'rrre
prrrobably in denial.  In theirrr place, what would you do?  Think about
a trrraitorr jussst down the hall, orrr the fact that you and all yourrr
kin werrre dessigned and manufacturrred asss ssslavess?" asked
Tr'Lawsh.

Daphne nodded.  She could see Tr'Lawsh's point.  "You are probably right," replied the human.  "What do you think might be the best way to work this so we can get some more information about them and their masters?"
