Daphne nodded.  She was troubled by the fact that Starfleet had
been able to come cross not a single reference to the master race.  It
made her wonder if the information had been purged from the system for
some reason.  "Separation might be the key at least to getting some more
information from them. I just am bothered by what we are not finding in
the Starfleet database.

"The inforrrmation may be therrre, we jussst arrre not connecting to it.
The masssterrrs may have a differrrent name than the one they tell to
theirrr ssserrrvantss."  She was careful not to say 'slaves', even though
she had used the word with Horrtha.  The other Caitians in the room
swivelled their ears toward her, the swivelled them back toward their own
soft discussions.  It was a very complex issue for them.  "Perrrhapss
they have otherrr namesss the databassse would rrrecognize."

It made sense.  Daphne had to admit to herself.  "Do your people have any stories in your mythology or history of a mass abduction from your homeworld?"  She thought perhaps approaching the mystery from another direction might help.
