Lasiter had left Celana, the rescued Venasian Ambassador, and his long time friend
Marcus Garibaldi in sickbay. He returned to his office where he, surprisingly, had
little to do. Because of his imminent medical leave, many of his responsibilities had
been transfered to others. So, the CinC took time to confirm the arrangements for his
stay on Betazed. He also took the unusual of personally looking over the arrangements
for the security detail that would undoubtedly accompany him.
Turning his attention to more business like endeavours, Samuel wrote letters to the
immediate family and to the clan leadership of his long time chief of staff, Commander
M'Rrenn. They were difficult to write, but they helped him come to terms with the
loss. It would not be long before the body would be returned to Cait. Lasiter and
Kitanya would both go.
