Jaime's mouth dropped open. Was he out of his mind? She looked at her brother. "James?" she asked. James knew that look and his "big brother" senses kicked in. "Richard could I have a moment to talk to Jaime?" Richard was growing increasingly frustrated with the situation, but James was a valuable member of the organization. The boy was very connected to his sister, and Richard did not want to lose James. He nodded. James slid out of the booth and grab his sister's hand, dragging her behind him to the hallway where the bathrooms were. "What's the matter?" he asked. "Do you trust this guy? I don't," Jaime said. James' head cocked to the side in a way that probably reminded Jaime of her dog. "Of course I do. In the cell, we have to trust each other. The only way that we are able to work for the Brotherhood and stay out of prison is by trust. will admit that Richard is quite a bit rough around the edges, but that is just the way he is. He just wants you to prove himself. You will see that he is not so bad once you get this done." (Jaime?) AJ |
