James watched her go. He knew that she was worried, but he also knew that she would do well on her assignment. He was more concerned that she seemed to doubt whether to trust Richard. Richard was tough, but good leader. She would find that out soon enough.

He turned back into the main area of the coffee shop and told Richard that Jaime would do the work.

Jaime returned to her house with her Great Dane, Phoebe, loping at her side.  She looked at the chronometer and saw that she had little time to prepare.  After she settled Phoebe in the back and set the computer to feed and water her on schedule, Jaime changed into a plain blouse and bound her titian tresses into a loose knot. She made certain that her ID was in her jacket pocket. 

She studied the instructions on the padd Richard had given her.  With a glance around her house, almost as if she was seeing it for the last time, she walked out and went to the station Richard indicated.
