Jared nodded with a friendly smile. He liked the CO. He was down to earth. "Perhaps I could grab some lunch in the mess hall on my way to my quarters. Would you care to join me?" he asked looking for a little company.
One did not spurn a request from an admiral. Colin looked to Mr. Black. "All is well here?" he asked.
"Couldn't be better sir.", Black answered.
"Then I'll be in the officer's mess, Mr. Black. CArry on." He followed the admiral to the messhall.
"Yes, sir."
After the brass left, Black sat back down in the 'big chair'. "So, anyone got any plans for when we reach Spacedock?", Black asked looking to start some interesting conversations while the brass were gone.
