"How would that help?" asked the Caitian. She sniffed silently, trying
to get a whiff of his scent and perhaps pick up on his emotions.
His scent was giving a clear picture of his feelings. As unsure as they were about
the motives of the felinid, he was just as suspicious of them. He was under lots of
stress, even though it wasn't detectable to the naked eye the scent he was giving off
was unmistakable. Perhaps it was worth a try, or perhaps not...
