Somehow, even though centuries passed, a hotel hallway still looked like a hotel hallway. There was something about Earth hotels that always seemed to make things loook forced even if they were comfortable. They all seemed to have faux furniture that tried to capture. the classy look, but not quite getting it. They all seemed to have the same striped walls and dark colored carpeting. They even styled the lifts to have the appearance of older elevators from the twentieth century. It was not a bad look, just not all that creative. Abrams looked toward Jaime to see which direction to go in. At least it was a suite. "Have a seat," Jaime said as she took the shopping bags to the bedroom. The Starfleet officer nodded as he made his way over to one of the chairs in the sitting area. She was gone a couple of minutes. "Sorry. Nature call," she said as she took a seat close enough to be able to see Samuel's padd. He angled the PADD so that she could more easily and comfortable view the screen. He brought up the basic schematics of the whole station. "This bottom area is the Engineering Section. It is going to be off limits, which is probably ok since it isn't part of what you need to learn about. My understanding is that you are here to get to know the freaks who are representing their governmentents. That means that you are going to have to spend time on the decks that are set aside for the embassies. That should not be a problem since outside of the Promenade, it is probably the most popular spot for tourists." "Ok, what do you recommend?" Abrams tapped the screen and the schematics blew up to focus on Module A. "There are she 14 decks for the Diplomatic Module. The top to are dedicated to personal shuttles for the representatives. There is also one deck reserved for the Council Chambers and support staff for the Council itself. The other 11 decks are divided among the various representatives that have embassies aboard. There are even some empty spaces, so apparently there is hope to bring aboard more of these freaks. I would suggest you head down to the module and just pick one of the embassies to stop by and visit. They all have community liaison representatives that are sort of like tour guides. They tend to be younger members of the diplomatic team sent to the station. I would pick one that would seem to fit your personal interests the most that way you will raise the least suspicions." Abrams stopped to see what Jaime thought of his suggestion. (Jaime?) AJ |
