Jaime nodded and looked away. She frowned. "I don't want to be here, either," she said. She sighed and turned back to face him. "But I guess we all have to do our parts." Sam put a hand on her shoulder and nodded. He was amazed at the strength that someone this young possessed to come up here alone and take on such a mission. He respected her for that. "You are definitely doing that, Jaime." "Is there anything else before we begin our 'tour?'" "I think you should be all set. Most of the questions you will probably have would probably be similar to those any tourist should have." "Alright," Jaime stood. She squared her shoulders. Her face was an interesting mix of fear and determination. The determination won out. "Let's go." Sam joined Jaime as she stood and put his hand back on her shoulder. "Jaime, you are going to do fine. Richard would not have sent you up here unless he thought you could do it. This is too important of a mission to seen someone doomed to failure." (Jaime?) The two settled into the crowds once they left the hotel. It did not take them long to reach the diplomatic portion of the station. It was easy to identify the embassies by their decoration. Each was definitely representative of their traditional cultures. The Bajoran one was not too far away. Sam turned to Jaime to see how she wanted to get things started. (Jaime?) AJ |
