Colin returned to his bridge to find it mostly deserted, and darkened a bit. Low level 'off-shift' lighting. "Mr. Black," he greeted, "I trust there is nothing of interest to report since my absence?"

"Be off, then, and enjoy your time ashore. Does the command crew have plans, do you know?" he asked. If they did, he would save their communal dinner for another time.
