"Be off, then, and enjoy your time ashore. Does the command crew have plans, do you know?" he asked. If they did, he would save their communal dinner for another time.
"Yes, actually. I think they were all going to head off to various parts of Terra, but that won't be until tomorrow. I think that they are all going for a bite to eat. Did you need them for something, sir. I can recall them..."
"No, no," Colin said. "Nothing like that. I was just going to offer to spring for dinner. Someplace nice. If other plans have already been made, though, we could always do it another time," he said.
