While the women continued to speak, Rilg also stuck  around.  He  listened
in with curiosity to what they had to  say.  He had to admit that  it was
the calmest that he had seen  them interact.  It was clear that they more
than disliked each  other."

"Former Ambassador Dulath was recalled to Cardassia Prime.  As I said,  he
is serving in a new position at a Univeristy there.  You can either  believe
me or not since you and the rest of the Council are going to do as you
please. Now, I think this coversation is over," said the Cardassian, who
walked away from the Klingon and made her way over to the Ferengi.

Valtris was shocked to see the Cardassian just walk.  She had to admit that
she was not completely surprised.  She decided that there was nothing more
that she could do.  She headed off on her own.

"Ambassador Rilg, I would like to speak with you in my office at your
earliest convenience."  She did not wait for a reply.  She only left  and
headed back to the Cardassian Embassy.

Rilg felt his draw drop slightly in response as the woman walked away.  She had had no intention of waiting for a response to see if he was available.  She also had no desire to talk in the hallway as she had with Valtris.  He did not like where this was going.

He decided that he had hung around enough and returned to his office.  He wanted to bring a weapon, but he had no doubt that he would not be allowed to bring it into the meeting once he reached the Cardassian Embassy.  He also was not sure whether she would harm him, though you had to wonder with a Cardassian.

He picked up a datapad in case he wanted or needed to take notes while he was at the Cardassian Embassy.  He also set the datapad to record in case anything happened.

A few moments later, Rilg, nervously made his way to the reception area in the Cardassian Embassy.  "Ambassador Damesh had wanted to speak with me.  I am Grand Proxy Rilg."

The young Cardassian woman seeted at the reception desk looked up and smiled.  "Just one moment, please," she said as she turned to see if the Ambassador was free.  A moment later, she turned back to face Rilg.  "You can go right in.  She is expecting you."

As Rilg enterred the office, he found it quite hot and dry.  He was definitely not used to the climate.  It was also quite a bit darker as it reflected the Cardassian comforts.

Melora Damesh was seated at her desk and indicated for him to take one of the chairs facing it.  "Please come in, Grand Proxy.  I have been looking forwarded to sitting down to talk to you."  There was a devlish look that indicated that she was looking forward to this.
