Jared nodded with a concerned look on his face.  He had to admit that Sam was like that, but he would have hoped his friend would have been able to find time to mourn.  Starfleet was a huge organization with him at his head, but he was surrounded by a number of talented people.  This Renaud was definitely one of them. Sam could have trusted them to take over while he took that time.  "Has anyone confronted him about it.  I have found that Sam likes to put up the strong front, but if someone tells him to take the time he needs, he will."
