Given their identies, they were transported to a VIP area at Starfleet Command
Headquarters, not the standard arrival point for transporter access. They were met by
a lieutenant, an attache officer assigned to the CinC. He was standing at a very
straight attention at they materialized.
"Admirals, welcome to Starfleet Headquarters.", he said in way of a greeting.

"I have copies of both the Chief of Staff's schedule for today and the schedule for
the CinC, ma'am.", he said to her referring to the PADD in his hand.

Bedru would find that her schedule as the chief of staff was busy, meeting with Renaud
and reviewing the mass of paperwork weeding out what Lasiter had to deal with now, and
what could wait. Lasiter's schedule was the exact opposite. It was being kept light
with respect to recent events.
Upon exit from the VIP transporter room, they found Starfleet Command a furry of
activity. More activity than the usual hussle bussle, but then again these were not
normal times. From their immediate position, the level above the main level at a
window overlooking an atrium, they saw Admiral Samuel Lasiter and his entourage... - a
pair of aides relaying reports and the ever present shadow of security. He was
heading into Operations...
