'Sammy....'nbsp; He never did like that. However, he was just too happy to see a
friend that he had not seen in a very long time, he let it go. "It is good to see you
too, Jared. I trust your trip was uneventful.", Lasiter answered using the man's first
name. Something that was not typical for him to do when on duty. Lasiter tended to be
considerably more formal when in uniform.
"The trip was wonderful. The crew of the Centurian are to be commended." Jared
paused for a moment. He could see that the 'Sammy' comment still riled the Admiral as
it had since he had first started calling him that. "Would you care to join us?"
"Thank you for the offer, but no thank you. I am rather tired, but I had wanted to
make sure that you made it here without trouble. We can talk in the morning. Thank
you for coming. You two have a good evening.", Lasiter answered kindly.
The signs of fatigue were on his face. He even sounded tired. Not physically tired,
but mentally and emotionally drained.
