Bedru sat down at her desk, "Thank you, Staek. I'll take it here," she said. "And go home." The Vulcan nodded and left. Daniels, CO USS Blue Ridge Re: Ramesar Diplomacy I am happy to report that the political take over on the planet Rames has gone without violence, but not peaceably. There have been some ruffled feathers over some of the decisions that the new government have made, but nothing that a good old fashioned sitdown couldn't resolve. We have been checking out their military, and to be honest I am quite impressed. They are quite advanced in almost every way, from propulsion to offensive weapons (energy weapons akin to phasers and torpedos) to defensive weapons (shields). I wouldn't want to get into a slug match with this people. Not with five (5) of our best starships to one (1) of theirs. However, this not the matter that I wish to report on. Our hosts, have just recently approached Ambassador Walcott, the UFP rep here, about the possibility of them sending a formal representative to participate in the Diplomatic Council that is based on Spacedock.
