>He was about to decline it until tomorrow until he heard her name-his eyes lit up just a touch, "I'll take >it please."
>He sat down and opened his comm channel taking the call, "Admiral Bedru. >This is a late call-how can I help you?" >"Ambassador, I have received a message from our team of observers on Ramesar. >Their government has begun to make inquiries about sending a representative to >the Diplomatic Council. Have you heard anything about this?" "I just got back from meeting with Intel and the Ferengi Ambassador so I'm sorry I haven't caught up on my messages--" Just then he noticed, "I just got it in my Inbox." He read it quickly. "I don't see a problem with them bringing on an Ambassador." To: Ambassador J. Watson, Earth From: Ambassador J Walcott, Rames Re: Ramesarian Developments I am pleased to report that the transfer of power from the people that we now know as the Usurpers to the Ramesar has been complete. Not completely without strife, but it did go forward without violence. The Usurpers seem to be adjusting well, and the Ramesar appear to be governing fairly. Since the Ramesar have returned, just a few short weeks ago, this observation is little more than a first impression. However, I am hopeful that things will continue to go smoothly. There was an interesting development to report. The Ramesar have shown a large interest in the other races and peoples of our galaxy. We have shared terrabytes of data with them, and they are even more curious. They have recently indicated a fair measure of interest in sending a representative to the Diplomatic Council that has convened on Spacedock. I have told them that I would look into it. I have to admit that I am both pleased and puzzled at their motives. They keep things close to the vest, as the saying goes. I don't think they are being deceptive, just not totally open. Please advise. Jordan Walcott. _______________________________________________ Spacedock mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://scifi-rpgs.com/mailman/listinfo/spacedock_scifi-rpgs.com
