>The Vulcan nodded.  "It has long been supported by research that patients
>in comas can hear and feel those around them.  It may even help them to
>recover faster.  Feel free to speak with him and do whatever you would
>like, Captain.  I can give you some privacy, if you would like."

>"Please...." he waited until the Doctor left-then he put his hand on
>K'Tael's hand, "K'Tael-it's David. Wilson and I are ok, but we need you.
>I've been put in charge of your investigation...but I don't have all your
>information. We need you to heal. Can you hear me? Can you respond?"

(OOC:  This is different.  I neer thought I would see a touchy feely moment with a Klingon!)

>The sound of K'Tael's heartbeat could be heard coming from the medical
equipment.  It was steady and regular.  It quickened slightly at >the sound
of Boulay's voice, but the Klingon remained unmoving.

David began to shake-the stress of the crash was catching up to him. He
pushed the shaking down with a slow breath and nodded his head "I'm not in
charge...I don't know what I'm doing...don't leave us K'Tael. You're not
only a colleague-you're a friend. We need you. Come on K'Tael-wake up. Come
back to us."
K'Tael still lay on the bed unmoving.  It was clear that the Klingon was hearing him, but there was obviously something preventing him from responding.

(OOC: Pete, K'Tael isn't going to be waking up just yet.)
