Daphne awoke the next morning at around 0600 hours. She usually liked to get a workout done to get her day started. After finishing her workout in one of the gym's on the station, she returned to her quarters for a shower.
She had some yugurt before heading to her office. She wanted to meet with Admiral Kitanya to bring her up to speed before her rendez vous with Captain Tr'Lawsh. She checked in at her desk to see if there were any messages before checking in at the Admiral's office.
There were some standard messages, mundane notifications of various things - one office had made a general request to try and get an extra chair, as someone's had broken and thanks to bureaucracy, it would take at least two weeks to get a new one. But there was one from Kitanya, that asked if Daphne would bring to the meeting the video recordings of the prisoners from yesterday, as she wanted to review them.
